Inspired by a season of reading philosophy, particularly Ryan Holiday's Wisdom Takes Work and Agnes Callard's Open Socrates, “Patterns to Wisdom” reflects on themes of philosophy through image. Both books, in different ways, suggest that wisdom isn't a destination but a discipline – something built through repetition, question-asking, and the willingness to sit with not-knowing. The owl, a traditional symbol of wisdom, sits contemplating that idea – simply perched, watching, patient. Around it, the geometric pattern suggests the recurring practices – the patterns and questions – we must return to again and again to seek wisdom.
 
Each print is pulled by hand, making it a one-of-a-kind original. The image block measures 5 x 7 inches, printed on 8 x 10 inch paper, leaving a clean border for easy framing.
