story.       The Twin Beaches Community Health Coalition, through the Town of Chesapeake Beach, commissioned this mural as part of their International Opioid Overdose Awareness event in August 2025. Community members were able to write names on the wall at the event in memory of loved ones lost to overdose. Then, the mural was created in September with the names incorporated in paint throughout the design. This mural is in memory of loved ones lost to opioid overdose, in dedication to inspire community change, and inspired by hope for the future. "Where flowers bloom, so does hope".
